Account Services Representative - Team Lead

DUTIES

The primary purpose of this position is to help the Account Service Team develop and maintain strong internal and external business relationships as well as to retain and grow business. The Account Services Representative-Team Lead position will also support the Manger of Sales to provide the Service team with training, guidance, instruction, and direction in the areas of relationship management, renewal process and negotiation of both rates and services to achieve final rating and plan decisions, to deliver seamless and high quality service, and the resolution and communication of account and service issues. In addition, the Account Service Representative-Team Lead position will utilize their expertise to improve overall departmental organization, efficiency and performance, identifying opportunities to enhance internal processes and improve outcomes.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Excellent written and oral communications skills which includes public speaking and presentations.

• A minimum of two years of Customer Service experience, insurance, benefits administration or broker experience.

• A minimum of two years of Account Services Representative experience at DDOK required.

• Ability to operate PC, perform 10 key by touch, and type 30 WPM.

• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multi-task while working with minimal supervision.

• Knowledge of Microsoft Office products such as Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

• Valid Drivers license and excellent driving record required; must be willing to travel and remain away from home overnight when necessary.

• Oklahoma Accident and Health Producer License or ability to obtain Oklahoma Accident and Health Producer License within ninety (90) days of employment and maintainence of the license thereafter.

  ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS FOR CONSIDERATION

• Bachelor's degree in Management, Marketing, Sales, Business or other related field. In lieu of a degree, will accept any suitable combination of education, training, and/or experience.

• Customer Service background in medical/dental field.

• Background in dental terminology.

• Classes in Conflict Management.
