Claims System Specialist

DUTIES

Responsible for the maintenance of the claims processing system applications and other related systems and tables which store all group and benefit information that drive claim processing and the display of benefits for customers. Also responsible for the review of all new benefit plans and benefit plan changes in the claims processing system, as well as acting as backup for the setup and maintenance of all groups and benefit plans. Effective communication with internal staff within various departments is a vital role for this position, as well as a clear understanding of DDOK's processing policies and guidelines.

QUALIFICATIONS

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Ability to type 40 WPM
• Two years experience with DDOK plan designs, products, and processing policies.
• Two years experience with aQden claims processing system.
• Experience with the operation and application of a personal computer, as well as Word and Excel

Preference will be given to candidates who possess the following:

• Dental terminology and experience preferred
• College degree
