JOB SUMMARY:

Assist the Director and Manager of Customer Service with supporting the Customer Service team to include monitoring, training, documentation and problem solving. Aid in optimizing the quality of the services provided by Customer Service. Responsible for providing management with summarized and current workflow data. This data would be used to assist in development of strategic plan ideas. The Customer Service Department is a team of professionals devoted to improving the experience of various constituents who call to resolve issues concerning their dental benefits. Position must also effectively communicate with Customer Service Associates, group contacts, client administrators, brokers, subscribers, and providers regarding benefits and claims in order to provide them with the correct information. Successful team members demonstrate superior customer service skills and are adept at typing, verbal communication, telephone communication and computer skills. Reliability is also a key requirement for Customer Service team members.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Customer Service experience and skills, five plus years Customer Service at Delta Dental
• Leadership/Management skills/training/certification
• High School graduate or equivalent
• General office experience using personal computer, telephone, and calculator
• Type 30 WPM
• Experience multi-tasking
• Organizational and analytical skills, ability to multi task and problem solve. Ability to collect and analyze information, identify trends, and make recommendations
• Customer Service Certification, Through the Customers Eyes Level I and II
