DUTIES

Plans, designs, secures, analyzes, develops and maintains DDOK's core claim system software and architecture to guarantee the consistent and stable execution of DDOK's core business products. Includes maintenance work, as well as, new systems development as new product needs arise. Position will execute highly productive and successful product rollouts involving new product launches and application enhancements to the core claims system. Manages staff members (Software Engineering) in the performance of their duties. Develops short term project planning and long term strategic planning with associated budgeting for resource and financial needs.

MINIMAL QUALIFICATIONS FOR CONSIDERATION

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Object-Oriented Programming, or Management Information Systems. Microsoft Certified Solutions Developer (MCSD) certification and 10+ years programming experience are required without degree.
• 10+ years' prior IT management experience.
• 10+ years' proven development experience of web and console based multi-user application solutions in a Microsoft Technologies environment using , SSL/TLS, IIS, C#, .NET, SQL Server.
• 10+ years proven development experience in Cognizant claim system technologies.
• Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical skills.

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS FOR CONSIDERATION

• Master's Degree in Business Administration, Information Management or other related area.
• Prior business experience.
