JOB SUMMARY:

Management of the Claims and Benefit Administration, Provider Relations, and Customer Service Departments and their operations and staff. Accountable for the maintenance of the claims processing system and associated systems/applications, as well as the processes for processing claims, including fee tables, programs, benefits, output, group and provider records. Direct all processes in Claims and Benefit Administration, Customer Service, and Provider Relations. Review and approve all outgoing correspondence for departments.

MINIMAL QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Organizational Development, Leadership, or other area. Will consider 7 years' experience in management position within insurance industry, dental support organizations, or other related industries in lieu of degree.
• Basic knowledge and understanding of HIPAA rules and policies in order to provide consistent and effective support to staff.
• Excellent people skills are required to coordinate departmental activities as well as activities regarding vendors and customers and to convey professionalism via written and verbal communications. Must have ability to build and maintain strong professional relationships within the organization.
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills are needed to answer internal and external inquiries, questions or problems raised by department personnel or external customers, data analysis, as well as to provide claims processing or customer service solutions to the needs of the customers.

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:

• Masters Degree in Business Administration or similar area.
• HIPAA Certification.
• Executive management experience.
• Provider network recruitment experience.
