JOB SUMMARY:

Responsible for development of the Provider Relations Department and staff in order to develop and maintain all provider networks for DDOK and to maintain a communication link with the dental profession and auxiliary staff. To provide accurate and complete information regarding the various DDOK programs to each participating provider and to ensure compliance of each of the provider contracts by participating providers. Responsible for developing training programs for dental offices, generate/negotiate contracts with training vendors, and generate revenue, through the training programs. In charge of managing the creation, maintenance, and accuracy of provider records within the DDOK claims processing system (aQDen), the National Provider File (NPF), and InforCRM (CRM). Act as a liasion between the Professional Relations department and all other departments to insure communication and processes are complete and accurate. Oversee the processing of assigned claims and apply appropriate perimeters in order to determine benefits according to provider contracts and processing policies in force. Responsible for overseeing all activities with Delta Dental Plans Association (DDPA) with regard to National Provider File and responsibilities as DDOK's NPF Coordinator.

MINIMAL QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum of three (3) years of personnel management experience.
• Minimum of two (2) years of dental office experience.

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Management, Business Administration, Public Relations, health care management, or related field.
• Working knowledge of insurance.
• Customer Service experience background.
• Sales experience.
• Experience working with Nomad radiograph machines.
• Knowledge and/or experience with provider ethics courses, OSHA training, and/or HIPAA training.
• Project participation and/or management experience or certification.
• MOS Expert Excel certification
