JOB DUTIES:

The Director, of Sales and Account Services leads, enables, motivates, coaches, and empowers the sales and account services team to generate profitable sales, retain existing business, and grow membership. Ensures sales team meets all new sales and profitability targets across all segments through a variety of sales channels, including new markets and alliances. Ensures account services team meets all retention, growth and profitability targets across all segments and delivery channels, including alliances. Other key accountabilities include strategy and planning, pipeline management, relationship building and maintenance, account management oversight, key proposal oversight and management.

MINIMAL QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's degree in Management, Marketing, Sales, Business or other related field.
  • In lieu of a degree, will accept any suitable combination of education, training, and/or experience.
• Strong marketing, sales, and communication skills.
• Knowledge of group insurance profession.
• Minimum of two years previous experience in sales, account management, or customer service required.
• Excellent business writing skills.
• Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills.
• Highly motivated, self-directed, organized individual with superb analytical and communications skills.
• Valid Oklahoma Drivers license and excellent driving record required; must be willing to travel and remain away from home overnight when necessary.
• Oklahoma Life and Health Insurance Producer License or ability to obtain Oklahoma within six (6) months or one (1) year of employment.

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS FOR CONSIDERATION:

• Previous dental or healthcare-related customer service experience preferred.
• Advanced underwriting acumen, including in depth knowledge of fully insured and self-funded arrangements, utilization reporting, segmented target loss ratios and margin/risks for voluntary and contributory business.
• Background in dental terminology.
