DUTIES:
Responsible for the training, development, and management of Provider Resource Solutions Reps and Provider Training staff within the Provider Relations Department. This responsibility includes the completion of annual performance reviews and requisite coaching/counseling as it relates to staff performance. Serve as back up to the Director of Operational Programs and Project Management and the Supervisor, Provider Systems and Data, as needed. Collaborate on strategic planning, annul budget and special projects within the Provider Relations department. Provide accurate and complete information regarding the various DDOK programs to each participating provider and ensure compliance of all relevant provider contracts by participating providers. Responsible for developing, implementing, and improving upon training programs for dental offices. Generate/negotiate contracts with training vendors and generate revenue through the training programs. Accountable for providing an effective communication link with dental professionals, dental practice staff, and auxiliary personnel. Assist in the promotion of Provider Resource Solutions to our dental community: including but not limited to OSHA, HIPAA, CPR and HOW. Act as a liaison between the Provider Relations department and all other DDOK departments to ensure communication, information and processes are complete and accurate. Assist with management and acquisition of all required documents from dentists and/or dental offices for business, malpractice, network and credentialing purposes. Oversee Provider Resource Solutions Representatives' and Training Specialist's activities to support the development and maintenance of all provider networks, training programs, applications and tools. Represent DDOK and the Provider Relations department, as well as coordinate and organize Provider Relations staff for all in-person meetings and events within the Oklahoma dental community (e.g., OUCOD, OKDHA, AADOM, OKDAA, etc.). Develop well written, accurate and professional documentation (e.g., white papers, reports) to support the research, investigation, planning and implementation of various Provider Relations programs and projects. Be a proactive, positive, and strategic member of the Provider Relations team.
MINIMAL QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Insurance related experience – two or more years.
- Dental office experience – two or more years.
- Working knowledge of PCs, as well as MS Word, Outlook, and Excel.
- Experience working with and maintaining multiple diverse and integrated systems.
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS FOR CONSIDERATION:
- Two or more years customer service experience.
- Management experience.
- Dental Hygienist Certification
- College degree.
- Familiar with dental and/or insurance terminology.
- Familiar with or have received certifications in or related to CPR, HIPAA, or OSHA.
