DUTIES:

The Underwriting Team Lead will assist the Director of Underwriting in the preparation of reports and data analytics. To research and prepare proposals for DDOK marketing staff, producers, consultants and groups to present to prospective clients. To prepare and provide proposals, renewals, renewal options, schedule A reports, various claims reports and provide follow up information as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR CONSIDERATION:

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Business, Mathematics or related field, or the equivalent in experience.
• Ability to operate PC, perform 10 key by touch, and understand basic filing technique
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office products such as Microsoft Word and Outlook
• Oklahoma Accident & Health Producer License or ability to obtain within first (1st) year of employment. Must maintain insurance license once received.
• Underwriting experience
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Public Speaking skills
• Excellent oral communication skills

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:

• Customer Service background in medical/dental field.
• Customer Service experience
• Experience in benefit administration
• Background in dental terminology.
• Classes in Conflict Management.
• Oklahoma Insurance License.
