DUTIES

To provide strategic and compliance oversight of the Finance and Audit departments in accordance with standards set by the Chief Financial Officer.

MINIMAL QUALIFICATIONS FOR CONSIDERATION

• Requires a Bachelor of Science degree with a major in accounting.
• Requires five years experience in financial statement preparation.
• Advanced knowledge of Excel is required.
• Knowledge of accounting guidelines and procedures.
• Five years of supervisory and/or project management experience preferred.
• Statuatory experience preferred.
• Ability to use a personal computer to generate word processing, spreadsheet and graphic documents.
• Excellent 10-key skills.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize and work with minimal supervision.
• Knowledge of use and operation of standard office equipment.
• Knowledge of a variety of computer software applications for word processing, spreadsheet, database and presentation software.
• Analytical ability is required in order to gather and summarize data, find solutions to various finance or administrative issues, and prioritize work.
• Ability to protect confidential information in compliance with DDOK policies and Federal and State Privacy and Security regulations
  

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS FOR CONSIDERATION

• CPA or CIA License preferred
